- B.Eng in Information Systems Engineering (Coventry Unversity, graduated 1988).
- M.Sc in Real Time Electronic Systems (Bradford University, graduated 1990).

Sun Certifications

- Sun Certified Java Programmer (Java 1.4) - obtained in 2004.
- Sun Certified Web Component Developer (JEE 1.4) - obtained in 2004.
- Sun Certified Enterprise Architect - obtained in 2008.

Lapsed Certifications

These certifications were completed but have either lapsed or been superceded.
- Oracle Certified Developer - Developer 6i (Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, SQL) - obtained in 2001.
